Today you often don’t feel well, impact of tortures inflicted in Uzbek prisons frequently remind themselves. Only Allah and you know what physical and psychological pain you have to overcome every day. Enemies make new attacks day by day trying to break your stead fast spirit, which make you sad and sometimes cry. They say that women tend to cry, but, in our opinion, this is not your weakness. This means that your heart is still beating, your soul is alive, which is always full of lofty feelings and decency.
You raised a smart, beautiful and dignified daughter – Makhliyo. This is a great achievement for every woman and mother. This year you have become a grandmother of four grandchildren, Zebo, Yusufbek, Madina and Yunusbek, who grow healthy and happy children. We are confident that they will become worthy members of a truly democratic society, that they will always be proud of you because you are not only a loving and caring grandmother for them, but also a great person, for whom providing assistance to people in need is not just a way of living, but one of the most important goals in life.
Islam Karimov’s brutal regime, inhumane tortures and humiliation in Uzbek prisons could not break you. You have been able to overcome blows of destiny, and still continue carrying out your human duty to God, to your conscience, to the humiliated Uzbek people.
All these give us the right to call you a truly strong woman!
