Your Excellency,
We urge your delegation to ensure that the Human Rights Council adopts a resolution that expresses concerns over serious and systematic human rights violations in Uzbekistan and creates a dedicated monitoring mechanism for the country. Uzbekistan’s government remains one of the most persistent violators of human rights in the world.

A cette occasion, l’ACAT, la FIDH et Reporters sans frontières appellent la communauté internationale à ne pas oublier l’un des massacres de civils les plus sanglants d’Asie centrale.
Le dixième anniversaire du massacre d’Andijan sera commémoré le 13 mai. A cette occasion, la FIDH, Reporters sans Frontières (RSF), l’ACAT (Action des Chrétiens pour l’abolition de la torture) et le «Club des Cœurs Ardents» (Fiery Hearts Club) appellent la communauté internationale à ne pas oublier l’un des massacres de civils les plus sanglants d’Asie centrale.
